Bogoni Surveys offers a platform for organizations and researchers to conduct secure, customized surveys with real-time insights and live responses. Our service is designed for ethical, data-driven decision-making—while upholding the highest standards of privacy and POPIA compliance.
2. Information We Collect
a. Survey Responses
- Question responses (including text, multiple‑choice, scale ratings)
- Optional PII like name, email, or phone (only if explicitly requested in the survey)
b. Technical & Usage Data
- Submission timestamps, IP addresses, browser and device details, and analytics for system performance and troubleshooting
c. Platform Interactions
- For client users, metadata like form usage, dashboard access, or file downloads for administration purposes
3. Why We Collect It
- To power real-time survey functionality and progress tracking
- To help clients understand their data and export it in formats like CSV, Excel, or SPSS
- To maintain system integrity, performance, and security
- For research, reporting, and operational improvements—while keeping personal data minimal and secure
4. Legal Basis & Consent
Participation in any survey presumes your informed consent to the collection and use of your data as stated. All data collection is purpose-limited and transparent—meeting POPIA’s requirements for lawful, accountable processing.
5. Storage & Security
All data is securely stored in our WordPress-based system, protected with encryption, access controls, and secure backups. Only authorized personnel of Bogoni Research (Pty) Ltd have access. We retain data only as long as necessary for the original purpose or to comply with legal obligations.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction or deletion
- Withdraw consent or object to processing
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator

We integrate with trusted tools (e.g., Forminator, WP Data Access, hosting, analytics plugins) only as necessary to deliver and manage surveys. These parties are bound by strict security and confidentiality obligations.
9. Anonymity & Sensitive Data
Unless personal information is explicitly requested, most surveys remain completely anonymous. Surveys that do collect sensitive data (e.g. health, demographics) are limited to what’s essential and always used ethically.
10. Changes To This Policy
We will post updated policies here with the new effective date if there are changes. Users will be notified directly when practical.
